Meeting Facilitation

Chris Weaver designs and facilitates participative meetings for organizations and community groups of all sizes.  Meetings can address a specific business goal, draw forth opportunity from a perceived conflict, or invite creative thinking, focused action, and emergent leadership around a particular challenge or theme.  In all cases, the meetings are designed to invite alignment between individual purpose and organizational purpose, which activates potential energy in organizations.  Chris uses the following processes, in collaboration with a planning leadership team from the group:

  • Open Space Technology
  • Whole Person Process Facilitation
  • Organizational Alignment using the Medicine Wheel Tool
  • Five-to-Fold Decision-Making
  • World Cafe
  • Fire Circles for Conflict Resolution

Chris also designs and facilitates a self-directed Learning Village process for children, youth, and/or adults for camps, retreats, and other events.  Groups provide their own content and workshop leaders. Participant numbers can range from 15 to 200 or more depending on the site.  Duration ranges from 4 hours to 5 days.  Outdoor mountain locations in Western North Carolina are available for events, or the group can provide its own location.
